The UK wide SSD CEN was inaugurated in 2022 as an annual online event to bring together members of regional Speech Sound Disorder CENs from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The CEN meets annual, usually in June. The next meeting is Friday the 19th of June, 2026.
The CEN aims to cover clinically relevant topics in SSD with the aim of providing a forum for sharing the latest evidence based practice in SSD. The CEN closely links with the regional CENs, but serves a distinct purpose by covering only those topics which are relevant to those working in any of the four nations of the UK. By holding a joint online event, the UK SSD CEN is able to attract international speakers.
